Online Course with Jungian analyst Erica Lorentz
The Feminine Erotic Soul is present in all of us – it opens a path to creativity, desire, connection, intimacy, and the sacred while offering an embodiment of the sensual Self. When this sensual soul is missing – regardless of our age, gender identity or sexual orientation – our experience of life feels flat, ungrounded, disconnected, and driven. This course helps you to recover, re-connect with and embrace your feminine erotic soul in your personal life. It explores how the erotic soul of the Feminine can offer us balance and healing for our personal lives, for humanity and for the world.
In a new 4-class course, Jungian analyst Erica Lorentz takes us on an intimate journey to recover, re-connect with and embrace The Power of the Feminine Erotic Soul. She will also share how this sensual aspect in all of us can offer balance and healing for our personal lives, for humanity and for the world.

Joseph Campbell brought the hero’s journey into mainstream culture. But what about the heroine’s journey in all of us? What about the whole history of nonviolent resistance all over the world that fought for positive transformation against a violent patriarchy? In this program, we will take a look at the qualities of the heroine’s journey of initiation, psychological, and spiritual growth through fairytale, myth, history, story, and film. It’s a growing movement and the only way to create real change.

Erica Lorentz: Introduction to Alchemical Symbols of Transformation
Friday, March 6, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
Seelye Hall, Room 201, Smith College
We will explore some processes and symbols in alchemy. This ancient discipline sought to transform our inner chaos/prima materia into the gold of psychological and spiritual insight. At the end of the Red Book, Jung discovered that the rich symbolic system of the alchemists described his own experiential method of active imagination and his personal and professional experience of individuation. Alchemical prints and film clips will illustrate the relevance of these symbols today.

Listening to our inner stories
Dreams are inner teaching stories. They are personal and sacred and guide us to what our unconscious needs us to know and integrate. Each dream is perfect and only needs our honest devotion to decipher its message. The facilitator and group will support you as you enter your dream world and engage with the dreamscape. Meaning emerges as we allow ourselves to experience the symbolic language of the imaginal realm. We will respectfully support each person’s unique story without projection and interpretation. No prior experience is necessary.

Have you had strange or powerful dreams since Covid? Dreams bridge the outer and inner reality and are inner teaching stories. They are personal and sacred and help us to understand how to respond to stress. Each dream is perfect and only needs our honest devotion to decipher its message.
The facilitator will support the dreamer to enter their dream through movement, art, and writing to engage with the dreamscape. Meaning emerges as we allow ourselves to experience the symbolic language of the dream. As a group, we respectfully support each person’s story without projection and interpretation. No prior experience is necessary.
